Does anyone know if/when they will release this game in the U.S.?  If not, is there a port of a Japanese version of the game?  Thanks in advance for any info.

Isn't known as of yet, but we do know it is in the works so my bet is to wait until around E3 time.

It's been confirmed for a Western release, but there are no dates yet. And considering how the "confirmation" was back in November, I'd be a bit worried. It could be a download-only release.

There was 1up article which talked about games to look forward to in 2012. They say a very reliable source confirmed that the title is being localised for the PSVita, which makes perfect sense... http://www.1up.com/features/top-psp-vita-games-2012?pager.offset=1

I hope this is true, Hopefully the vita version will be released in Japan with some bonus content because i really want the Vita to succeed. This would really help

If they're making this for the Vita. I'll buy the Vita on the same damn day. Nothing stops me from my FF games!

This, bought the GCN for CC and i think that was the worst decision but will still buy VITA if this comes out on it.

If it is coming to Vita my interest in getting one has multiplied by 100. Having played a bit of the Japanese version the game is a killer app for me
