a x10 increase over 360 wouldn't be surprising to me for next gen. when consoles are released they are usually on par with high end PCs with the exception of nintendo consoles. I don't think games will look as good as the demo simply because the development cost would most likely be huge with the amount of work to make a game like that.
however PC quality will come to console easy.

You - you realize that the Wii is the only Nintendo console, out of five of them, that wasn't seriously pushing the cutting edge of graphics tech when it came out?

Wii U's going down the same route.

So a new Xbox 10x more powefull than 360 could easily run Samaritian at 30FPS at FULL 1080p.

Means most games will run at 720p/60FPS with top notch graphics.

Im good with that but i rather 15x more power, FULL 1080p/>60fps.

I highly doubt we'll see games looking as good as that demo next gen (on consoles), maybe 5-6 years into it we might start to see stuff on-par. But I think launch titles will look as good as BF3 and possibly Metro at high settings. Which is more than enough for me. Hopefully the lowest resolutions we see will be full 720p and games will be running at either 30-45 fps with motion blur or 60 fps.

What you said in that demo can be run by computers today, so if next gen consoles can't run it, then that would be a real shame.

Also this is just a PR and marketing thing, don't you guys take it seriously, unreal engine ALWAYS get hyped up like this , then it ends up not as good looking as it should be.

Except that the other consoles, from what we can tell, will probably be on rough graphical parity with the Wii U. PS4 might not be - if Sony is stupid - but the Nextbox probably will.

I think we will see Samaritan grafix next gen thanks to Sony, especially if they decide to launch the PS4 in 2014 instead of 2013 like MS.

Even though MS seems to go heavyily towards the casual market I expect the GPU in the Nextbox to be 10 times as powerful as the GPU in the Xbox 30.

I expect 12-16 times for the PS4, which would make it about twice as powerful as the Wii U.

Keep in mind as well that the tech demo was only built by a small team over a few months. I would expect the unreal engine 4, which will effectively be what is used to produce these type of graphics on consoles, will actually be far better optimised.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

I saw the Tim Sweeny Epic Games conference which mentioned the stats posted in OP. Its by far the least interesting fact during the entire conference.

He talks about some really cool stuff but yet here we are...talking about irrelevant graphics performance multipliers.
