why should rosberg let hamilton go,they never did that for rosberg back in that race earlier

Because they were on completely different strategies, and where it was dumb of Mercedes not to let Rosberg pass the first time, it was even worse to not let Hamilton pass here. In the other instance the race, and respective positions were in the bag, give or take the order between them. Here, letting Hamilton pass would have kept him from losing a lot of time to front. Rosberg was in a totally different race here, as Hamilton rightly pointed out

Well, I should have known Mercedes is back to the good ol' days. Seems like the Kevlar tyres brought things back as they were at the beginning of the year, instead of favouring RBR and Mercedes as Lotus and Ferrari feared.

Shocking from Mercedes here. Looks like Lotus are back though, and that Ferrari gamble may have paid off, had Massa not spun out.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

i agree, stupid both times by mercedes and why hamilton should have let rosberg go when he was clearly faster back then without fuel issues or whatver it was and rosberg would have let him go today, strange how the team doesn't get these things right,

and yep you get the dnf right, useful 10 points

Things have gotten better with the years, the hate is nowhere the levels of 2007. Vettel is almost on par with him.

Weird qualifying by Ferrari, probably some sort of strategy (not able to qualify high anyway - better start with the hard tires), but Alonso starting in the dirty side behind Massa don't sound like was a part of it. We'll know soon.

Honestly, Massa has just been better than Alonso lately. He's had some terrible bad luck in the races though.

Hope he does well today

Do you have encouraging words for other drivers?

Looks like it's gonna be a Red Bull dominated race. Lotus will probably do well again also
