Stupid isn't it? I wan't planning on buying DLC either way but why offer exclusive DLC for the platform with a much lower fanbase? It's a stupid business decision.

I thought FFXIII-2's sales weren't a flop. Regardless of platform, one cannot expect the sequel to sell more than FFXIII did. Simply calling the 360's sales a flop could easily be countered with the PS3's sales in Japan a flop.
I'm surprised it sold as much as it did with the controversy over XIII's linearity.

im sure it will come to PS3, just more MS moneyhatting, which is a waste of damn money considering it didnt help them last time. Its actually doing much worse by comparison, so either they are gettting it for PS3 or they just hated 13

Given their nice SW week, shouldn't both PS3 and XB360 HW be up in Europe too like they are in USA?
Anyway, not a bad week, but like Kow shows in his useful YoY comparison, with XB360, PSP and PS3 down and Wii and DS horribly down YoY, and PSV not taking off yet, the huge 3DS performance isn't enough to keep HW up overall. This implies that, as Sony and MS aren't down so bad to have to rush PS4 and XB720 launches, 3rd parties will have to support not only old gen and 3DS, but PSV and Wii U as well as possible to support the market overall.

Sales aren't a flop they are very good, but thanks to the PS3, not the 360 where the sales are dire.

Vita still performing to my expectations(very good), loving the PS3 numbers, 360 continues to do over 150k, PSP hits the toilet ww, as does DS.

i can't believe how bad DS and Wii are doing in Japan even with Wiiu coming and 3DS out. anyway, ww looks great for all hardware except psp and DS.

I have actually completed 13-2. It is not a good Jrpg in the slighest. It is so far behind Tales of Vespiera, Xenoblade and Star ocean that it's embarassing. It also doesn't even manage to be as good as Blue Dragon. The writing is an embarassment compared to Lost Odyssey. From this generation I would say it is hitting far closer to Enchanted arms levels. Although Enchanted arms somehow actually managed to have better characters and story (how in the world did that happen?!). 

13-2 has some good aspects but they are totally outweighed by the writing, characters, baffling design decisions and incredibly small game (seriously there are so few original maps and they are repeated again and again with almost no changes.)

At the same time, a lot of ps3 fans prefer to buy exclusives. I think part of the reason so many people are excited for Versus is that it's supposed to be an exclusive.
