When it comes to Racing :

PGR > RallySport >>> ALL

No one can touch Microsoft 1st party racing games. Too bad they dont make them anymore.

Do Turn 10 and Forza not count then?

Seeing as Activision shut Bizarre Creations down after Blur flopped, don't know if a new PGR would be as popular as the series used to be. Can't really see Turn 10 making a proper arcade racer, and they seem like the most likely developer.

If Halo 4 is any indication, people are willing to give talented studios the benefit of the doubt.

Around the Network

I dont get it. Forza 4 was one of the best racing games ive ever played. And yes, ive played it Ps3 counter part.

Yay!!!

Man MS had the racing game fans in the bag with the PGR and Forza series. There was no other place to go besides 360 for racing, PGR for arcade fun and Forza for the crazy realism. They should defo run the two series in parallel.

Makes you wonder why the sales were so low for racing games on 360 compared to PS3

Because people don't like to leave their comfort zone. It's how games like Madden and Call of Duty (more COD then anything else) continue to sell better. It's a social appreciation - the Gran Turismo name is more well known and has been around since the PS1. Forza only had one entry on the original XBox and more people own 360's then the original XBox, so the name is going to take a lot of entries to sell more. If Forza 1 was on a system that sold PS1 levels I think it would do a lot better today, but to give credit to MS the 360 has done quite well so I think the Forza on the next system will sell a lot better. If it doesn't then I have no faith in humanity.

It's just that simple.

PGR has had it's day imo.
