I think it is more intelligent than lazy. Why spend so many resources to remake FF10? A remaster is fine, there is no problem with that. Considering I do not have the PS2 FF10, and was unable to acquire it for a reasonable price after it went out of print, this is a great opportunity for me to get it again.

FF6 and FF7 are deserving of remakes, and I think they can be done with fewer resources - unless they try to do an FF13 style remake, which in my opinion would be retarded and probably not something I would personally be as interested in... I just did not like the new art style used in the FF7 movie - but I really liked the original FF7, and would hope they would retain that style, and keep it top down for the most part.

Not sure if i'll pick it up right out of the gate at full price if it is just a HD remaster. I already own a few copies of the game. I don't need the trophies THAT bad.

A remaster? Man, thats just lazy. A remaster is just an upgrade in graphics, like the HD collection on PS3, but this time there is only one game. Remakes mostly likely include expanded stories and altered gameplay, some remasters don't include this all.

Hopefully, it will include DLC, but why should fans pay for more content that should have been included in the game while it was being remade?

Not interested in rebuying the most overrated game ever. But glad they aren't wasting time remaking it.
