Sounds very good. Now I'm going to start moving into a bit of a media blackout for this before too much starts getting revealed ahead of discovering it in game.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I really hope naughty dog are more reserved with details about TLOU going forward. Im hoping for a solid gameplay trailer/walkthrough at E3...and then that should be it! Until the standard launch trailer.
The way they dealth with U3 was pretty shitty...they revealed quite a lot before the game launched! they even showed some of the most impressive parts of the game. The sand level really shouldnt have been shown before the time. I really hope they dont take this approach with LTOU (hoping for a strategy more similar to U2).
Im not reading it if there are plot spoilers, just want to know if they mention when were gonna see gameplay?

I'm guessing at GDC or E3.
They've already showed demos to gameinformer and probably a few other publications.
Seems like Naughty Dog is doing what they do best, showing and telling us way too much before the game is out.

Hopefully because it's new they will. But I'm taking no chances anyway.

i thought these were most important
We’re going to have some sort of online component. We’re working on a bunch of ideas, but we haven’t nailed anything down. We definitely know it’s going to be awesome
Combat is inspired by Anton Chigurh’s intense gun battle with Llewelyn Moss (No Country for Old Men)
Movie had little music and sometimes no dialogue for long stretches of time - idk how there going to do that since you'll be encountering more humans then the creatures
Can’t just hide and wait for your health to recharge Since there is persistent health, you’ll have to use a health pack to repair damage and budget enough time to apply it
Ellie is an AI-driven non-playable character
Ellie will be very capable and won’t get in your way
“We know if the entire thing is an escort mission you’re gonna hate it. The easy thing for us to do is every time there is combat she just hides somewhere and then she comes out at the end. We gave ourselves the insane challenge of, ‘How do we make her a part of the combat space?’”
Game Informer says Ellie does a great job of tagging along in the demo, staying out of sight, warning Joel of danger, and getting him out of jams
Players won’t have to worry on blaming a game over on Ellie as long as they don’t purposely lure enemies to her position or completely ignore when she’s obviously in trouble - glad i wont have to babysit my hype for the game went up a couple of notches after reading that
There will be more encounters with humans than the infected
Joel/Ellie are part of a larger cast of characters full of allies and enemies that will come in and out of their adventure as they pass through cities, suburbs, and rural areas

Play Me
I want this out in 2012 so bad, but them saying they haven't even nailed down what they're doing for online yet makes me think it probably wont make it this year. Anybody else feel the same?
OT: I skipped through a good bit of the info bc it seemed like potential spoilers; however, one of the neatest things I thought was that health doesn't regenerate but especially them saying u need to budget enough time to use a health pack. Love that realistic aspect! Its one thing that was a negative about Uncharted imo. Wish they would've at least put a flack jacket on Drake to make it more believable.
