I've never understood this. If spring is coming early the groundhog should see his shadow because it's warm and sunny outside. And if winter is going to continue then the sky would be overcast or snowing and he wouldn't be able to see his shadow. It's backwards.

But the movie is a classic. How many years do you think he lived in the same day? He watched all the movies in town, read the books and learned to play the piano. I'm thinking it was at least a couple years.

That's one of my favorite movies!
