Why should COD be the one to change? There's dozens of other FPS out there, if you don't like what COD is doing, go play those instead.

Battlefield Single Player was like a poor mans version of COD single player.

Multiplayer is another story.

We say people care only about multiplayer, however COD campaigns are well liked by average gamers compared to other FPS.

Its like the hate for Avatar and Titanic. People make it seem they are terrible movies but they are two of the most watched films in theaters of the past 2 decades.
