Forums - Sales - THQ moving away from 'kids licensed entertainment;' Saints Row: The Third ships 3.8 million

They are working on an unannounced Wii U exclusive though. That game is most likely aimed at kids.

Probably not. Exclusives for Wii U were probably negotiated by Nintendo, and since N has tons of kiddy content in their backpocket, I wouldn't see them negociate with THQ for another one.

I may be wrong but I would expect the contrary tbh.

Remember the successful U Draw? With the Wii U controller (and the great sales of the first game) it seems way more than likely to me.

You may be right, but at the time that was announced (Jan 18th), the Udraw was still multiplat (not that it isn't anymore but it sure looks that way).

We're speculating, right, and granted you may be right, it could have been the Wii U exclusive version of the Udraw, but where the Udraw was multiplat when the dates were given, and where Nintendo is fishing for some exclusive "deeper" content in the "deeper and wider" paradigm, I was expecting some kind of timed exclusive à la Ghost Recon Online.

I'll admit it is fair game, could be Udraw WiiU, or some core timed exclusive. I choose the latter, but what the hey you could be right.

Yeah, I'd also pick a more mature game over a kiddy game any day. Too bad Wii Draw U or whatever it would be called seems more likely, given they'd do just about anything for money at this point :(
