I will probably wait for the Xbox 720, or whatever it will be called. Unless Sony pumps out something I just have to have, but I think that is unlikely with what Kinect 2.0 will do on the NextBox. I am hoping for some big innovations in the next get.

I agree with this statement 100%

Wii U looks like it has the potential to be very innovative for gaming so that's looking good.

As for the 720, I am hoping for a Kinect 2.0 as well that impresses me.

As for PS4...? I don't have any ideas for Sony to do but I am hoping it's something cool!

I doubt I can pass up the Wii U and first party Nintendo games, but I may well end up buying multiple consoles next gen.

My favorites the past 3 gens have been Sony consoles.

Its not Sony, its that they have been able to provide me with what I want, the JRPGs.

My purchase next gen will be based on the same thing (tho I will end up owning everything as I have this gen).

Actually, if Sony is not going to give me more to play next-gen than God of War & Ratchet and Clank, I might just skip PS4, my PS3 has not really been much more than a foot stool up until now, except for 1 week of God of War 3 playtime.

It's pretty unlikely since Halo is one of my favorite franchises and unless that gets a big decrease in quality next gen I probably will stick with the Xbox as the first console I get.

I have both a Wii and a PS3... If by switching you mean getting the next-box then there's a zero percent possibility XP

I hope a single console will be enough next gen though, save my money for more games or something else
