Actually, both of those sites strictly prohibit copyright infringement, and you will get your account banned from the sites for posting it. In addition, these sites are not file downloading sites, so your weak attempt at an argument not only fails, but is completely irrelevant.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Also I heard another file sharing site just went down.
Fileserve... |
I emailed them, let's see what happens.
Well actualy direct downloading from these sites is much more mainstream and popular then torrents as it is so much easier.
These sites like Megaupload, Fileshare, filesonic and Rapidshare are well known.
If all these sites are taken down, the ability to directly download films will be effected dramatically.
For the geeks and hardcore users they know other sites, but if you go to sites that have links its mostly to those 4-5 main sites.
megaupload and fileserve were my two major go to sites....I used filesonic time to time....this really does suck
well this moning i found this on some article. http://www.anonyupload.com/
Well Anon Seem to make the new megaupload.
This is a better idea :)

They were in the right though that is the problem. So was megaupload. Megaupload only had a 10% piracy rate. That means 90% of the files on Megaupload WERE LEGAL. To be honest, I've only downloaded user created content from megaupload and almost everyone I know has done the same. From my past experience and reporting copyright files to megaupload I've noticed that they take them down QUITE QUICKLY. There is some inside reason that megaupload was taken down. It obviously wasn't created as an attempt to conspiricise to piracy. That is a complete lie by the U.S government. I hope megaupload wins their court case. Megaupload was never created for piracy. Heck, even Kanye West and other people including Actors supported it. The Media companies are killing America.

Megaupload recently started a service which sold music directly from artists to people without the middleman.
Also I think it won't take long before similar service emerges in coutries which aren't so concerned about IP laws - Vietnam, China, Russia, some islands you never heard about.

Really? Then that totally is the main reason for it getting hunted down by the "old men".
