This is a big concern for me. I'm not looking forward to plugging in my controller.

Although many are saying the lack of a CPU will help save power, the screen and the radios (not including Bluetooth) are also huge drains on tablet batteries. For example, an iPad doing nothing but idle on the home screen lasts seven hours at max brightness, and twenty(!) at lowest brightness. I'm sure Nintendo's optimized their streaming radio so it's more efficient than regular wifi, but it's still going to be streaming data constantly.

Furthermore, everybody talks about how light the unit is, so it doesn't sound like it has a big battery in there.

So im bored sitting at home waiting for my gf to come home, watching tennis *zzzzz*.

Come to my mind if the Wii U tablet has a screen of desent size, i can only imagen that its going to grain the battery like all hell. With most tablets these days lasting say 7 hours. I dont think ill want to charge it that often.

As there been any news on how long itll last, i did do a quick search and didnt really see anything.

Not to be a grammar nazi, but I hope you didn't drool on the keyboard while making this thread, I could almost hear you snoring. :)

Sounds like you were almost sleeptyping on the computer! :P Hope I didn't wake you up with my post.

according to a report at E3 (which i'm too lazy to google) in which they asked one of the show girls about her shift schedule and if she had to recharge the tablet ect.. they determined at least an 8 hour charge. more than that would be gravy but if you can get an entire day's charge out of the thing i doubt anyone will complain.

..well that's not true but the complaints won't have much foundation.
