TPS or survival horror you all know you are gonna buy it, I really liked the RE2 vibe from Leon scenes. Was that blonde girl Sherry Birkin?

You shouldn't mess with Leon's 90s haircut. Besides it could be worse they could have made him look like an anorexic junkie who likes to smoke on rooftops.

i don't get it. do people want the same game they played before or do they want games that evolve the franchise?
the world is infested with Zombies and different arias play different if you want it to be outside a mansion . this is much bigger than the mansion games or whatever.
i mean look at how many Zombies we will face :O and that part in the tunnel looks awesome!

"Sometimes they look awesome...", guessing those were the CGI cutscenes compiled for the trailer wheras most of the ingame gameplay looked like RE4 receiving a massive HD update.....

While I agree this trailer sucks, I don't agree at all with RE4 criticism. It was great, very well polished, controls were great, it was various, challengening, it had great boss fights, it was something new and unique for its time. I still consider it a way better action game than both Uncahrted and Gears. Sure, it wasn't a survival game and it wasn't horror also it was like a knife in the back for "classic" resdent evil fans.
Still it was a legitimate choice for the developer to change RE formula; they decided to create something more action oriented so they innovated creating something new and unprecedented. (I personally love both classic RE and RE4/5 gameplay, even tought they are 2 different things.)
This time things looks a little different, they changed the gameplay formula but without any innovation, they've just made a Gears/Uncharted clone and put the Resident Evil label on it.
Awesome announcement. Well took them long enough.
Gameplay looks to be extremely varied. some insane action bits and some slower and most likely scarier ones.
Only thing that I'm unsure of are the graphics. 0.00 - 1.30 looks kinda disappointing. From 1.30 onward it's looking pretty good.
