Confusion on Brawl release date

January 8th, 2008

I have been hearing this for a couple weeks now, but I was holding back on it. Now the news just keeps hitting my inbox. I want to thank all of you for the tip, but I cannot stress enough that this is purely speculation.

A few retailers websites have moved Brawl’s release date to March. GameFly has it set for the March 10th, and GameCrazy has it listed for March 31st. I asked our rep about the situation, and I was given the ‘no comment on rumors’ answer. Take that as you will.

As far as anyone is concerned, the release date is still on for February. Keep your fingers crossed for things to stay that way.

I just checked the Nintendo Press web Site, and the game is still listed as 02/10/08.

I'm going to have to side with cool48 on that one. Miyamoto's philosophy that a good game that's delayed will become great, while a bad game will always be bad, hasn't failed him yet.

Noooooo i am seriously bored of my WII, I beat GH3, Zelda, Red Steel, Strikers, got bored of SMG and now am awaiting this game.

There's always Virtual Console to tide you over in the meantime. Or replaying. Or even playing a different system while you wait. Patience isn't going to kill you, especially if the end result is a better game.
