Well that certainly went not into the games because your playtime on Reach is barely more than 70 hours and your playtime for Halo 3/ODST is even worse. And no data for halo 2? |

@ lostplanet22.
Dude seriously those stats mean jack unless you used the same gamertag the entire time and didn't play all your games connected from the start.
Halo 1 including anniversary I've finished at least 10 times. There's over 100 hours there. Id say halo 2 was around 7 or 8 times. Obviously with the first 2 titles I'll never know how many hours were spent playing local coop but it was alot over 5 years.
Halo 3 I played for a year under a different gamertag hence why I've finished the game several times and yet my gamers pre says I haven't.
As for odst that one was by far my least played.
Reach? You can add another 70 hours to that as when I bought the game I want connected and had played enough to get to liutenant colonol offline. Then when I joined online it reverted back to 0 experience. Hence why my gamers pre shows nearly 1000 yet my stats say have had played 1 hour of campaign.
You tried to look smart, yet used figures which require you to play every game connected. Yet id say less than 1/10th of my halo gaming time has been played connected. And less than 20% of my halo gaming time has been played using this gamertag.
Sigh.

It would really please me if they took an innovating design and story approach and focus more on the storyline, but of course they won't that since there are millions of people willing to buy a tweaked version of the same game for $60 again and again. |
^Exactly this. I had very high expectation after playing Halo: CE, but they were never really met. I don't mind the game being linear overall, but the Halo 2/3/reach approach where you just go from one room to another through tight corridors most of the time is just ridiculus. Halo 1 got everything from a mysterious story line to some nice parts of exploring right. Let's hope they can regain all that in Halo 4-6.
I can't wait for Halo 4! :D
and the artwork looks good :D
@lostplanet22
not sure why you alwys have to stalk people on this forum talking about halo on bungie.net... I remember you did that before, not sure whats wrong with you that you have to do that all the time...
let's talk about me, with my actual gamertag you would see that i've played reach and halo 3 like 300 hours each (can't search with my smartphone atm). what you don't see is my hours with my old gamertag for halo 3, I would say 300 hours online. you don't see my halo 2 numbers which was with my first xbox and another gamertag and halo ce.
and then there are my hundreds of hours i've played with a friend as guest under his account. for example one time we played 2 weeks in the holidays, every day from 10am to ~3am which alone counts for 200 hours or so. 4 guys doing this 2 weeks straight, that was fun...
so stop trying to prove everyone wrong with you stupid bungie.net, your numbers are useless...
lay time I saw you doing this it was about k/d ratio from someone. he said some just suck and than you took stupid numbers as example not seeing that his numbers were still easily above average and not knowing if other people play with that account like I did a lot with my friends account. it's not like he always played as him and I as guest. sometime I played his account and he was the guest or some of our other friends...

Check yourself. Halo Reach campaign under your lovely link says under 2 hours spent on Campaign. Yet my Gamertag shows I have finished legenary Reach. How so?
The proof is in your link. I'll let you work it out.
I also own the Gamertag Selnor. Of whiich I never connected to Bungie.net.
Anyways now we have had the traditional VGC Xbox thread ruin happen. Let Xbox owners get back to their thread..
Well realistically we can expect a new toy or two of the vechicles we will find in Halo 4, nothing more.

Exploring needs to be encouraged rather than pushed back by invisible walls as constantly seen in recent releases. More open worlds as well of course! (although, I think I've read somewhere 343 already confirmed that.) |
I thought that too, especially wondering how the hell they built Infinity.
But I checked the Halo Encyclopedia and only Earth and Mars were hit when the Covenant found Earth. The colonies on the moons of Jupiter and Saturn were untouched. Also the novel First Strike says that the Covenant will have bypassed more then a dozen colonies when they found out Earths location.
Sure some colonies chose to be independant but im sure at least a few are still loyal to UNSC/Earth to contribute with any raw materials.

Thanks for the interesting info man. I thought Earth was the last location populated by humans; guess I was completely wrong
