Well Space Dandy was pretty disappointing, hopefully it gets better. At least the production values are really high. Not sure what else I am going to pick up this season, at least I still have Kill la Kill.

Disappointing is a very appropriate word. The jokes were just so... safe. The narration was too on-the-nose, and nothing really seemed to happen (i don't mind a "Shaggy Dog Story-everybody dies" kind of ending, but even the struggle in this case seemed to lend itself to no particular end).
Currently watching Pretty Cure season 1. I'll basically take this year to watch that, watching other little series in between.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Having the director of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo kind sets the bar higher than another dumb letch oggling girls and wacky but rather boring action sequences. No consequences plus no real character development (at least none I particularly cared for), well done but not teriibly interesting pulp sci-fi designs, and technically well executed but not particularly exiting action doesn't really make a very compelling show. None of the jokes really hit for me either, nothing worth more than a smile anyway.
I will probably stick with it for now, hopefully they build something more compelling from this framework. 60s and 70s Pulp sci-fi inspired anime is thematically promising. And the production quality is great.

Yea seems like they were trying to bring Anime to a more mainstream western audiance again with this show. I don't think it going to work tho, I don't think that Shinichiro Watanabe quite got why Bebop was so big in the west.

Neither did I (It was never shown in Canada, internet was dialup back then so download was no go, and I'm too lazy to pirate it now).

I think Space Dandy (even though I was planning not to like it) is a lot better than Bebop. It is not as boring and has a certain Gainax vibe to it, which is always a good thing.

Finished psycho pass and overall i thought the show was ok. The world they made was quite interesting and they have a lot of ideology that would make you think even though a lot of it is probably loss in the story. The characters for the most part are ok at least they're likeable the main lead looks like she's stoned most of the time. The main villian though is amazing. He's a lot of fun to watch its like watch Light Yagami and the show doesn't until he gets introduce.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont
