Nah, but KnB mangaka (obviously) cites his main inspiration being Slam Dunk

 S2 Magi, S2 KnB, S3 Hajime No ippo and Kill La Kill are on my watchlist.

Just finished the first season off akb0048, and i think it might be my favorite anime ever

Even surpassing full moon and clannad, it's seriously such a beautiful anime!
