What the heck are people watching this season? Its just so dry. I can't remember the last time a season was this uninteresting to me.

This season and the season before it were actually pretty crappy. The best I can offer you is Robotics;Notes (Not as good as Stiens;gate though)

Last season wasn't the best I've had but it was till okay. We got Hayate and SAO continued all the way through the ALO arc which I didn't expect but was surprised with nonetheless since I read the novels through that arc anyway (Hope they adapt GGO as well). We also had Chuunibyou and Pet girl of Sakurasou, which were both much MUCH better than the run off the mill romance anime. So all in all, wasn't too bad of a season if we don't focus solely on Shounen stuff.

This season though, my goodness does it suck hardcore. I might check out Robotics Notes to see what its about. I hope its not like the Arcana famiglia (why did I think this was going to be like reborn?) anime where it shows promise and flunks hard within the first two episodes.

Having read the novels (translated) I hated the SAO anime. Chuunibyou was good but it wasn't a K-ON. I want 2008 back.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Well, if you think the current season sucks you can always try to watch some old stuff... or you could just give this season a go... initially I thought last season sucked, and it suprised me a lot...

if you want to watch something funny try Maoyuu Maou Yuusha... btw, this has also been added to my to watch list right about... now...

Fate/Zero, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, samurai seven.

Great suggestions, I already adde one to my shopping cart and will purchase next week. thanks!

One question in the summary of Fate/Zero says: "Taking place 10 years before the events of Fate/stay night, this series chronicles the events of the Fourth Holy Grail War", do you need to see Fate/Stay night before watching this one? is it recommended?

Thanks in advance.

Fate/Zero is a prequel to Fate/stay night. So you cant go wrong with watching both of them.

Although Fate/Zero is a prequel to Fate/Stay Night - I still recommend watching Fate/Stay Night first since it kinda makes more to watch since most of the new characters shown in the prequel do not show up in the original along with the fact its best to watch the original as that was the original order - its kinda like playing FFVII Crisis Core before actually playing FFVII , you wouldnt want yourself asking where is so and so in the storyline in the next game.

Also dont forget about watching the movie which is a totally different story arc.

Ok then, what is the suggested order? which one should I watch and wich ones are not required?... this are the ones available in amazon on blu-ray:

Fate/Stay Night: Collection 1 (U$ 48.99)

Fate/Stay Night: Collection 2 (U$ 62.99) will be released in march

Fate / Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (U$ 18.96)

No Fate/Zero available at the moment on blu-ray with a decent price, so out of those... which is the order?

There is some supreme irony here.
