Yeah I truly don't understand what's going on with MS making it sound like the 66M figure was meant to be sold to consumers.

They said more than 66m.

hmm. thats gonna be tricky for VGC to sort out then, i feel a little for ioi and whoever is in charge i wish them well and hope they take there time to come to a conclusion for there 2011 numbers

in the mean time i think it be best we shift are focus to EU and the rest of the world as NPD has released, i think for the posters that like to crunch numbers they should go back each year and figure out how much the 360 has sold each oct-dec quarter and even take down PS3 and Wii's to see what the highest realistic amount it can possibly do there this year

who don't we just do about PS3 sales for holiday time
Sony estimated 3.9m for PS3
we get Japan(11/21~1/5) and US(11/21~12/31),din't know MEA and outside of US(Americas area)
yeah hard to know MEA and outside of US(Americas area)because didn't show in chart history but we can estimated europe(11/18~12/31) first

even i know VGC shown it's 4.6m

Yea, financials will be interesting.  The only thing that sucks is having to wait til financials for Q1 2012 to actually check everything.  If there has been overshipping on MS's part, then Q1 shipments will be quite low.

I'd just like to point two things out:

Steve Balmer getting too excited and including Jan shipment numbers?

That's not even close to a possibility, Steve Balmer is a highly experienced CEO, not an idiot.

Also, I happen to know where all the consoles were sold to:

Not in the CES vid I saw. 

Seriously, though, I didn't know Martians liked to game.  I guess we have another region to track.  And yes, I am being serious.

If that's aimed at me, I've already said I don't have a clue who the winner is now, that perfectly describes you for Sony though, every thread you've basically just demanded Sony won.

Yeah, might be a bit difficult though, I've heard rumour that it takes a while for Martians to proccess sales data and email it through, same lame ass excuse about them being far away and all that
