Humm I usually tend to ignore ethomaz, as it's either whining about the numbers or an underhanded comment in regards to "undertracking". But I find it kind of ironic that you're using the VGC numbers when it suits your agenda, but whenever we had the weekly numbers in the past few years, you posted in almost every thread with the typical "undertracked" comment or "waiting adjustments", and got banned for that a few times I think. Don't mind me, just laughing my ass off here.

Right now we know 360 has shipped about 66.5 million and they have a standard of keeping about 1million in supply chain so sales should be between 65 to 65.5.

I heard 66M, do you have a link for 66.5M? And that standard is your BS.

No but your reply is BS.  I'm using the 66.5 as the middle of the road between 66 and 67 as MS has stated it was over 66.  I understand that could be 66.1 hence the 65 to 65.5 actual based sold based upon "the standard" that MS has consistantly kept a 1 to 1.5 million supply chain.  You don't have to like it (which I have no idea why you wouldn't), but there it is.

Your standard is BS like he said.

2006: 2.4 million on shelves
2007: 2.0 million on shelves
2008: 1.8 million on shelves
2009: 1.8 million on shelves
2010: 0.6 million on shelves

The last year is an exception due supply issues.

Nice try ethomaz but your numbers are crap, get over it.

VGC numbers... not mine ... face it.

I wonder why its hard for some to accept that there are 1-2+ million Xbox360s sitting on shelves around the world? Hell, even PS3s and Wiis should have that much.

Just imagine how many retailers/ stores/ sales outlets there are around the world. In the US alone there are porbably tens of thousands if not hundred of thousands of stores that sell Xbox360s. Now there's Europe, The Middle East, South America, Russia, and Asia. Multiply those number of stores that sell X360s world wide with say 3-4 units of Xbox360s on hand and you get over a million consoles.

Same shit applies to the Wii and the PS3.

Hell, the same shit applies to anything that is distributed world wide and carried in dozens and doezens of countries. Only difference is that some sell faster than others.

actually it's the opposite, VGC members are having a hard time accepting that MS hold an average of 1.44 million units in stock  on Shelves, its very hard for the SDF to deal with right now.

It's actually even worse than that...the average is 1.44 million units on store shelves by VGC own numbers and Ethomaz manipulated those numbers to try and prove his point.

I'm a Sony supporter and I find that an inventory of around 1-2m is just about right for the 360. The PS3 should have even more onhand stocks as it is carried in far more countries than the 360. More countires = more retailers and stores that sell the PS3 = more on hand stocks.

I'm confused, wth are you talking about? it seems to me besides last year where the supplies were at  least 2 milion are out there, but MS did not sell as much as they expected in America. so there is a litttle more than usual.

Nothing to be confused about VGC show MS has an average supply chain of 1.44 and nearing the end of the cylce it has been on the low end of that.  my comment is to Ethomaz who was trying to imply that MS hold an average over 2 million, which is simply false.

Your math seems off, I'm getting 1.72 for the average of those five numbers, more if you take out the obviously outlying .6 which would makes the average 2.0 instead.

Also I suggest not throwing around terms like SDF around.
