Forums - Gaming - So every big game of 2012 is coming out in March...

GTAV? The Last of Us? Halo 4? Bioshock Infinite?

Mass effect 3 is probably at the top of my hype.

Max Payne. That game is gonna be huge.

Mass Effect 3 was the only "big" game I saw on that list...

I would call Max Payne 3 (anticipated for awhile now and Rockstar is behind it) and Resident Evil ORC (high selling series) "big."

The rest of the series I mentioned (Silent HIll, Armored Core, Ninja Gaiden) are at least popular and still decent sellers to some extent.

GTAV will be a monster seller for sure and same goes for Halo 4.

It is hard to predict how The Last of Us will do since all we have is a teaser and a little bit of info.

I really can't understand the hype for Bioshock Infinite. I like the first game and all for what it was (great graphics/environment/combat ... kind of a dumb story though... I don't think Ken Levine knows anything about Objectivism, and all characters except Andrew Ryan were awful in terms of voice acting), but Bioshock 2 was beyond terrible (original creator gone I guess had a lot to do with it). I may be proven wrong, but I just feel that Bioshock was one of those games that never needed a sequel, prequel or any sort of continuation. Infinite seems to have so little to do with the rest of the series from what we have seen so far that I wonder why they just didn't start a new ip ... I guess to cash in on Bioshock name again.

Don't see anything on there that really interests me, hope that is down to a difference in taste. Gonna have to go and investigate this....

I can understand not liking a lot of the stuff on the list ... even the Mass Effect series is having a dramatic drop in quality with each installment.

I would at least check out Silent Hill HD collection seeing as how they don't even make survival horror anymore (I think Amnesia: Dark Descent was the only horror game I can even think of this gen). Even though I have already played Silent HIll 2 and 3 to death, I am starved for a good horror game ... they are classics and have high replay value.

My main concern is that Feb is also a big month for me

FF XIII-2, Jak Collection & PS Vita

then in March

SSX (it will be out in the US in Feb I think), Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3

And of course, the problem looming over this is that I will probably still be playing Skyrim

Mario Party 9 might be a big title if Nintendo hadn't come out with approximately 75,000 minigame collections over the last 5 years.

What about The Witcher 2 for the 360?..any word on the launch date?

Checked out a trailer, hopefully they have a demo available. If not I will rent it, never played the originals.

for some reason I keep expecting Heart of the Swarm to release in March as well, durrr.
