I know what you mean!

The PS3 is yet to release any of its 'big hitters' and the 360 seems to have released quite a few (halo 3 being the main one) yet the PS3 still sells the same, or outsells it...

That must be painful to see :P

it seems you drunk a lot of fanboy juice lately..

pity.. you were not so biased before..

one thing is for sure - no matter what sales the PS3 has people will always be disappointed in them , for whatever reason

low numbers we have been spoiled last couple of weeks

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

In North America, the X360 and PS3 are too feature similar. Relatively low HD adoption rates and console prices well outside the magical $200 price range means Joe Casual won't grab it as an impulse buy (I'll get flamed for that one.) Expect sales to basically stay the same. Well, until the epic Sony vs Microsoft War gets started later this year.

The Wii sales can be attributed to people trying to buy a Wii after Christmas. Also, Nintendo's Wii raincheck program ensures Nintendo will get Christmas-like sales throughout January.

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

I don't know why your telling anyone off for being a fanboy..

GTA IV will do for Ps3 in EU what it will do for 360 in NA....

TBH

SONY need Japan now, the best Eu can do is Balance out NA, we need FFXIII out for Japan...

MGS4 I don't think will have a huge impact in NA, GT5 will, Killzone if it gets 9.0 + everywhere will...

LBP n HOME could be HUGE, they could be COLOSSAL if done well, marketed well & if they catch on huge leaps will be made by Ps3

for Japan however, just give em the FFXIII n Ps3 will stay ahead of the 360

True. I think LBP will be a massive sleeper hit, a new age lemmings, if you will. GT games do very well in Europe, as does GTA. Home, I'm not too inclined to get that by what I've seen so far, it all depends on details and the sheer scope of the thing, which could be huge or a real letdown.

Time will tell if all is well!

I want some numbers for ... next week, and next week again to see how things turn.

I m not surprise of the PS3 numbers

I m surprise of the Xbox360 numbers !

they seem too high in PAL and too low in NA

(105k 1 week after Xmas when the PS3 do 70k WTF !!! ...)

Time to Work !

Yep, 2007 holidays was crazy all over the globe! The gaming industry as a whole had net profits of near 40 billion dollars in '07... Crazy shit! No wonder we got too gaming to do already!

@mummelmann

although you may not be excited for Home

trust me, to expand the PS3 market, SONY has taken a good step imo
