Ignoring what it took to get there, 14m in a launch year is incredible, I don't think people (in the industry or not) understand that consoles, home or handheld DON'T take off massively in their first year, christ go back to 2006 and 07 and 360 and PS3 were touching 60k a week.

Yep, I also posted in it as well, the uploader of the video hates people that numb down Nintendo games because they are from Nintendo. He appreciates games with good gameplay, not good graphics.

I just hope the washington post writes a similar article next year telling us how bad has been vita sales in 2012

Lol, a little bit too serious but over all I totally agree with this guy! It's pretty pathetic for people to be like that. Especially posting a comment like "oh this looked good until I saw Nintendo." Who in the world would say that?! That's just a dumb thing to say. 

   Plus this guy is really cool 'cause you can tell he's non-biased (he has a Kinect and PS3 playing in the background.) Way to go man! :)

and 3ds had a slow start ? what else is new what console didnt start slow--- looks at ps3 psp vita   xbox360 -especally in japan ,     xbox gamecube  n64 ya they just keep coming its rare to have a console sell lightning fast out of the gate-- nes snes ps1 ps2 and wii are the few examples of consoles and gb was a example for handhelds so again rare,
