PSThree, just like the PSTwo and PSOne before it.

They could move things around inside. If the components got smaller, then consumption would decrease. With that decrease the cooling system could shrink a little as well. A form factor that was different from the Slim design would do wonders in improving sales for the PS3 brand.

They could bring a few things back to make the system a little bit like the original "futuristic" design. Like the membrane Power and Disc buttons on the front. Also bringing back the four USB ports would also be much appreciated.

How many times did the ps2 shrink anyway?

Yay!!!

2 main times but really 3

first of all: good job on the game tag my friend. :-p

But no, I don't think there will be a new PS3 Slim next year.

My PS3 Slim is CECH-2003B. Which version of the Slim do I have? It's 250GB one and I got it from play.com in April 2010.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

PSN ID: Ferrari_1996

At least one more revision will come, remember even after PS2 was released, the PS One came out

The slim has a genious cooling design that uses 1 fan for the chips and PSU.

The fatty has an epic system as well, although its confusing:

That picture, to me, shows they have little to NO room for shrinking the console anymore. In fact, it was a struggle to reduce it to this size from the old Fats which were also about the same crowdedness inside. Shrinking the cpu/gpu in order to shrink the cooling system and power supply is really the only way they could do this, but even then I don't see the overall size shrinking much, if at all.

For comparison's sake, here's the inside of the Xbox 360 and 360 Slim. As you can see, other than the DVD drive, there is so much more free room inside that they could take advantage of and shrink things down:
