and appearently vita got outsold in its home turf its not about what games you think is better,

ill tell you what 3ds has better games right now , --not only do the sales for mariokart7 sm3dland prove this but,
i think we all know the story ,

and if you think vitas launch is any better then 3dses launch there is somthing wrong here because most of those games have already been on 3ds or other platforms isnt that the same complaint 3ds had at its launch ya lets go through the list of 20 games
asphalt ignition- equal to asphalt 3d wouldnt you say
ridge racer- hmm oh ya ridge racer 3d i might add after hearing only 3 tracks im disappionted in vitas version
sonic generations-thats on 3ds already as well as home consoles
michael jackson experience again multiplat
blaze blue-port of the 3ds version without 3d just with new fighters
thats half the list of good known games any way
sure theres nich titles like little deviants hot shots golf uncharted , but ya , your out of gas

cause not only were you going off subject--- patchler talking about sales not the freaking games , cause thats only ones opinion
not a fact , get it through your head everyone has diffrent taste in games

i like a variety -which is why the 3ds wii ds ps2 and all others are good for me but there is people who just want classics--- that nintendo offer-
plus parents--there will be more 3dses bought i guarantee you in this gen due to that factor alone,

sure vita will be great , but comparing it to the success that 3ds right now is,

and to the one who said 3ds is behind ds no its actually o utsold the dses first year and lets remember this it was without a redesign without xmas launch , , and the launch wasnt perfect -nor was vitas , appearently

so there ya have it ,, and since when has patchler ever been right>? isn't he the one that said 3ds would be the next virtual boy? isnt he also the one who said ps3 would fail-become sega? isnt he the one that also said the wii wasnt going any where ya that guy , ,pft ill pass on that

Remember, guys, the circumstances AREN'T the same, like Monteblanco said. When 3DS launched, it had no current-gen competitor.

Vita, however, has the cheaper 3DS with an already impressive blockbuster lineup that's rapidly growing.

Yes, Vita has more games at its launch, but are they better? That's arguable. Yes, Vita is the same price the 3DS was at launch, but that's just one SKU, and the other is more expensive.

It certainly could outsell 3DS's first three months, but it's going to have some MASSIVELY difficult times doing so.

yeh I used to think this.. till I remembered you would have to have a large memory card.. then I remembered the memory card prices.. no thanks

Going by second week Vita sales, I'm gonna say...nope!

The memoryCard are necesary if you want downloadble games.. if no You can buy retail games and save inthe Gamcerd itself...

If you want downloadble games on 3DS You have to purchase a SD card... YES, they are cheaper... but You have to buy one... If you bougth the "embassador" 3DS You have spent at least 300$ with a class 10 16GB SDCard... + games...

The Vita will be more expensive, YES but still I think You're getting more on the Vita nowaday than in the 3DS at its launch day...

Vita will turn arround if SONY lower the MC prices a little more... or make atractives packs with the consola and a 8Gb MC at least (For WHAT YOU NEEDA 4GB MC?) and eventually Sony will release a 64GB card or may be bigger and will lower the actual prices for sure... Meanwhile i'll get the 16GB + Starter kit...

Actually unless I missed something in the past week, for some retail games (the most important ones) you need memory card to save and some save on the gamecard itself.  

I know 2nd week is poor but maybe it's too early to tell, 3DS did fall sharply after a few weeks.

I think it's a forgone conclusion that WW PS Vita's first 3 months will beat 3DS's first 3 months. In Japan, though? Things aren't looking good for PS Vita. :/
