Wii users use the console to play games offline the most as well as watching video on -demand or streaming.  With all the new services on Xbox, this might change next year.

Xbox gamers are online the most.  Interesting to see that Ps3 gamers online has shrank this year (% wise)

Not surprisingly, Ps3 is used to watch a lot of DVDs.

I just play online/offline and occasionally as a DVD player. I just got a Blu-ray/DVD player for Christmas though so now it'll be just for gaming.

I use the Wii, 360, and DS for gaming only.

PS3 gets 3 to 4 hours a night when I am working everyday. Probably 5 out of 7 nights a week is netflix, music unlimited, Video Unlimited. Blu-ray and games are the a split.

PSP have not touched it in over a year, and this is coming from a 1k, 2k, 3k, and Go! owner.

Xperia Play mostly, music, videos, and internet, but good for gaming when in place PSP's and Ds's need not be.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

I dont play my ps3...Bricked.
I dont play my wii...No games i want to play
I play my 360 cause its not bricked and has Skyrim/afl live/forza.

Even so i barely ever have enough time to do stuff these days working and drinking. Although ATM i am on a 10 day holiday. Im going to get VERY bored

I used to resent the idea that many used the PS3 as a Blu-ray player more than for games, nowadays I don't play games at all and only use it for movies!

Around the Network

I only use my PS3 for blu-rays and Gaming, I'd say half of the time online, the other half obviously offline. I play 5-10 hours a week - occasionally more if I just got a new game that I really enjoy. I don't watch many Blu-rays, maybe one a month. Oh and I'll use Iplayer/40D every now and then aswell. I guess I also use it to talk to my friends.

I use my playstation 3 for ~10-40 hours per year during which I:
Watch blu-ray's,
Calculate for SETI
Play God of War 3
Play Ratchet and Clank

I use my PS3 365 days in the year as a foot stool, so it is actually always being used in some way, even if it isn't on.

As for declining online play with PS3....
I blame PS3 hack.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

But, we got free stuff. I got Little Big Planet (I really don't play it often) and Wipeout (play it more often). But, I most often play game installed on the HDD.. I don't do very much disc based play. So, I'm on Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 most often (Online) And, now that I have Sonic CD and Earthworm Jim. I'm going to play the crap out of those too.

I'll show up online in Uncharted 3 from time to time. Thanks to Subway, I got to 75 very quickly. Next game on my list is twisted metal, then, Soul Calibur V in the following months (after everyone has had time to get good in the game -_-) after I get vita and Street Fighter X Tekken. Too much stuff coming out in the same time frame that I just happen to want.
Usually, I get my fighters day one, but, there's just too much coming out too soon.

But, that's how I spend my time with my console. Fighting online.

ps3 is definitely used for blue ray the most
