Purchase it as soon as possible, I first contemplated getting one in 2010 but didn't get one until 2011. With such a strong line-up next year it shouldn't disappoint and with the classics that are already out.

Well I don't know the market in Canada, but that seems like a pretty good deal, and it comes with Uncharted 3, which you are going to have to buy anyway, so I would say it is logical

@Persistentthug, I actually only own an old school DS lite and a decent PC (can play Dragon Age Origins in high). I think I'll wait till Sunday evening aka boxing day (Monday morning) and snatch up a hot PS3 deal, just got to do my research ahead of time.

yeah buy it. Seems like a great deal and would be stupid to wait a whole year to get a PS3.

Everywhere is selling a 160gb model on boxing day for $199.99, I haven't seen the EBgames deal with Uncharted but if you can get that's the better deal. If you wouldn't mind shopping online, Futureshop is selling a 320gb PS3 with Infamous 2, Batman Arkam Asylum GOTY, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction and Demon Souls for $300. Its online only starting 8pm on December 24 and its limited to 250 units availble. If you don't have those games and are interested it's certainly an awesome deal. Otherwise go with the Uncharted 3 deal.

Last time I was there PS3 hardware and software converted to roughly what it is in the United Kingdom.

Buy it! The PS3 is awesome. Your already pretty late to join the party so buy it. PS4 will probably come out in 2013.

Hmmm yeah the $299.99 bundle sounds good, but I'm unfortunately not interested in Ratchet & Clank and Demon Souls (wish it were Dark Souls instead and instead of Ratchet and Clank, some other good game).

Thanks for the help guys, I'll do my research tomorrow evening but it looks like the PS3 bundle with the Uncharted 3 for $249.99 is the best deal, unfortunately I think EB Games stopped that deal a week prior to Boxing Day (sneaky fellas) but I will inevitably get a PS3, it's cheap as it is.
