The reason why Call of duty didn't do well on DS is because the game wasn't that great, it played nothing like the console versions and it's target audience generally do not own DSs (hardcore gamers and bros). But the VITA is definitely targeted at the hardcore, and a console-like portable cod will definitely attract some bros. Uncharted will probably sell very well, same for FIFA, Assassins creed and quite a few others, but you're right, nothing will sell like those Nintendo 3DS titles.(Could maybe get close though). PSP succeeded in getting "console-like" in its own case, but that did not help. It needs unique games and not "console junior" games. Take the "Stories" games on PSP for instance: they were unique expansions on the hit series and did decently well, but games that were clearly just junior partners of their console counterparts did poorly.
