Super Smash Bros. is not a fighting game, it's a casual beat 'em up that doesn't take any skill. If you think that real fighting games seem the same, than you're an idiot.

it's not fair for saturn because many of the good games were never released in the US, and even the games that did get released did not get many reviews.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Pixel Art can be fun.
playstation housed some of the greatest games out there
ffvii, ffviii, ffix, tactics
gran turismo 1 and 2
Crash bandicoot all of them
tomb raider 1 and 2
Metal gear solid
tekken 3.
all of these were just great back in the day.
I grew up with the n64 and no console will ever replace it as my favorite
personally the N64 was my favourite console in that generation
The N64 is the multiplayer king of all consoles, ever.
PSX - The games were cheaper and more diverse.Plus alot of great franchises got their start on the PSX -- Resident Evil, Syphon Filter, Grand Theft Auto, and Twisted Metal.
N64-The games were too expensive-- I remember paying $66 for Mario 64 at Funcoland -- and on an outdated medium. As for the quality over quantity argument, very few games lived up to that claim-- Mario 64 , Zelda ,Wave Race , and Starfox-- other games were average at best; I'll have to give the fifth generation to the PSX.
Not only did the Playstation have a bigger and better library but that's where many of the biggest franchises today started or at least were made popular.
The N64 brought in Perfect Dark, Goldeneye and...and...yeah that's all I can come up with.
The Playstation brought in Metal Gear Solid, Wipeout, Gran Turismo, Chrono Cross, Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot, Xenogears, Spyro, Ape Escape, Tomb Raider, Silent Hill, and that's just by going by the OP's list. That is why I think the Playstation had a bigger and better library than the Saturn/N64. The PS had absolutely everything except a good FPS.
