Can we trust in theses Xenoblade numbers?

I mean, after Zelda pre-orders I'm a little bit skeptical about it.

Do people even know what kind of game Kinect Star Wars is? Seems like its only getting by on name recognition.

Now almost every game with "3+" number in the title is frontloaded.

True, but Mass Effect 3 isn't technically a "shooter",  although some may call it that. And Mass Effect 2 on all platforms still had a big, but not huge start even though Mass Effect 1 was brilliant.

The shooting aspect is definitely not why anyone falls in love with Mass Effect.  ME2 also didn't debut on all platforms... PS3 port was much later.  ME1 was brilliant, and was over 2 mill sold before the debut of ME2, but from what I heard, the reason ME2 was more shooter, and less RPG than ME1 was a lot of the feedback Bioware got was that it was too RPG for mainstream... something that is BS, but they said more RPG will be back for ME3 since the main complaint of ME2 was lack of RPG fun.  But they did do a survey and a lot of people DID stop before finishing the game (even more so with Dragon Age Origins) ... but eff those people.  They dumbed down Dragon Age 2 so much... well, look what happened with the reaction to that.  Not good.

First week EA still says 2 mill sold on 360 and PC ... so maybe it's undertracked, but we don't have accurate PC sales either so blah.

But yes, games are frontloaded now just like blockbuster movies are.  The more huge fans of a movie/game there are, the more frontloaded it will be.  With games, that is a good sign since people have yet to support crappy rated games in bulk.  Complain about MW3, but it still got good ratings.  With movies, it doesn't mean much, since many of the big openings now are for movies that suck balls (Pirates, Twilight)  but they still have tons of fans... mainly 15 year old girls who want Johnny Depp or one of those vamps.

Mass Effect 3 and Halo 4 never disappoint

Ugh I just realized that there is no drop box to pick what week of pre-orders you want to view. That's going to make getting past data quite time consuming.

Does the site have any pre-order information on Vita? I'm wondering how it's doing now that it's in the final stretch.
