Tri-Ace Helped Out With Final Fantasy XIII-2

Tri-Ace’s Yuichiro Kitao revealed something interesting over Twitter today. Tri-Ace staff were involved with the development of Final Fantasy XIII-2. Tri-Ace helped out on the game with aspects of game design, art and programming.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was released in Japan this week. The U.S. and Europe will see the game on January 31st and February 3rd respectively.

Star Ocean 4 + Final Fantasy XIII = Perfect JRPG

It makes total sense.

As long as Tri-Ace didn't touch the gameplay, the story and the characters (those are all the weak points of their games).

You think Tria ace games have worse gameplay than the final fantasy series?

Good as long as they touched nothing apart from the gameplay (which is the only thing tri-ace are good at...this generation anyway).

I just started Star Ocean International and guess what. It's the first blueray game ever that wont load after a certain point. There is like no scratches on it and it doesn't work. Awesome looking game to big open maps and loving the gameplay.

Final Fantasy 13-2 is seeming better and better everyday.

I really disliked the Star Ocean IV gameplay mechanic. Gave me nightmares.

I wouldn't even give a squirt a piss to both developers and the sequel to my most hated game ever.

Anyway, let's have the sales decide whether or not people have any fears for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Amazon.co.jp reviews are good as well! Hopefully critics agree.

I think the costumer satisfaction with Final Fantasy XIII will dictate sales of the sequel. Hatmoza were you satisfied?
