you have to either swap memory cards or format vita's settings (not sure why, it dosn't do much since there is no internal storage) to use different PSN accounts.

Yoshida is Japanese. Why would he need to have accounts for 2 different regions?
I would think he would be fine with the Japanese store since he's fully fluent. He most likely plays Japanese games as well.
