Forums - PC - Skyrim mod brings online play to the PC

VG247

GameFront is reporting on a new in-development mod for the PC that would bring cooperative and online play to Skyrim. The mod will reportedly allow players to quest together, trade items, and chat with other players worldwide.

There’s no word yet on exactly how it works since the mod is still in production, however a video was released that you can view after the break. The video is extremely rough, but it does show basic character models playing and moving around together in Whiterun (though without animation.)

Skyrim with cooperative play? Now there's an enticing prospect!

and the construction kit isn't even out yet!

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Already posted in the official thread....sadly no ones check that anymore, so I don't know why I bother with it >_>.

This mod looks amazing, though I won't try it in it's current state, given that it has issues with the 4 GB LAA fix mods and that pretty much screws up my game.

Current PC Build

CPU - i7 8700K 3.7 GHz (4.7 GHz turbo) 6 cores OC'd to 5.2 GHz with Watercooling (Hydro Series H110i) | MB - Gigabyte Z370 HD3P ATX | Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G (1657 MHz Boost Core / 11010 MHz Memory) | RAM - Corsair DIMM 32GB DDR4, 2400 MHz | PSU - Corsair CX650M (80+ Bronze) 650W | Audio - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 | Monitor - Samsung U28E590D 4K UHD, Freesync, 1 ms, 60 Hz, 28"

yeah obvious project.

I just hope it will be better than the Oblivion and Fallout online mods. Won't try it yet either.
