He will be missed. The case for common sense, rational and logical thinking has been diminished.

Damn.

The most eloquently spoken orator of our time. He was a joy to listen to and a privledge to read.

One of his more recent essays about his greatest struggle with his sickness: 'Unspoken Truths" was heart-wrenching and as personable as he always is. Those who followed him feel as if they know him.

This is a great loss.

Many people remember his big support for the Iraq war.

He was among many such people who supported the war at that time.

Unlike others though, many people give a false impression that they never supported the war.

It's been a long time coming; he was diagnosed with cancer around a year and a half ago.

It's really a great loss for humanity. He was never afraid to challenge widely held beliefs, but he always did so with logic and reason. He was arguably the most steadfastly rational man alive. He was a fantastic speaker and a fantastic writer.

RIP.
