We still have to wait until the end of the year to have the yearly WW balance: if, like it seems, XB360 sells more during the holidays, but PS3 keeps the yearly sales leadership, it could happen that once they be close enough (at this pace not in 2012, that's for sure), PS3 surpass XB360 during the first 3 quarters, but then XB360 on its turn surpass it again during Q4 and then PS3 have to surpass it again to get the 2nd place definitively. And if PS3 annual gain won't be big enough and MS will keep XB360 alive long enough, this swap could even happen again before PS3 accumulate a lead large enough to not be reverted again. It'd be wonderful, imagine the repeated meltdowns of the opposite fans! And most probably Lard Ballmer wouldn't survive more than twice, cholesterol, triglycerides, cocaine and strong emotions aren't kind to coronaries.
