Reading the OP just took me back a bit, completely forgot about Tracey!

I havent watched the series in a long time but I did watch every Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto and most of the Hoenn episodes back in the day. Misty used to be my favourite character but I had a soft spot for team rocket too.

i am glad that someone loves dawn as much as i do. Johto is my favourite season.

I have to say I really enjoyed the entire Sinnoh league. All the characters were good, Dawn was an AWESOME female character (as good as May and WAY better than the tsundere Misty) and in general Sinnoh was a region with great mysteries. I also loved the fact that most of Ash's pokemon actually evolved. Infernape has to be one of my all time favourite pokemon from Ash's team besides Charizard. The whole backstory with Chimchar really made me care for him as a pokemon and absolutely go ballistic crazy when Infernape finally beat Electivire. I think I might have even shed a few manly tears. Plus Darkrai at the end was so broken but still a nice end to a really good league.

Compared to Sinnoh league, Unova league sucked so much balls it wasn't even funny. Ash took a HUGE step back in terms of being a trainer and in general Unova league didn't even have the hype and feel of a league at the end of a season.


Sorry for double-posting my fellow charterz but please tell me which seasons in numberical where these? I may buy them... or something.

No probs, ask away :)

Yes you should probably watch from season 10 onwards. Eventually you'll get to Black and White and you can continue on with that if you like it.

For your second question, no you don't have to play BW to get BW2. I mean yes there are some story links and the BW2 story is set 3 years after the BW story, but there aren't that many links between the two stories. You are still a trainer who is trying to become a pokemon master. The villains are still the same although there are some minor references to what happened to them at the end of the last game and the previous protagonist, but it's nothing major.

I would suggest getting BW2 because a lot of BW is pretty much recycled on to BW2 with some added bits. You won't be missing out on much since the gameplay and pokemon are also virtually the same.

still think Iris and Cilan are annoying and Dawn kicks ass.
