I like (liked) the games but I never really caught the cartoon series until I was much older and even then only an episode or two of the later seasons (didn't really like them). I did quite like one particular series of Digimon I saw a while back though. Don't know if I'd like it if I saw it again but I watched it regularly back then.

i don't really recommend the Black and White season though, not yet atleast, Diamond and Pearl is a lot better.

i swear this website is the land of nintenfanboys. because i'm sure is MS had anything to do with pokemon you would say how bad it is or ignore it.

in the end, pokemon is a kid anime. it has some good elements like almost every tv show but unfortunately its designed for a young audience and get hits in the face with censorship.
pokemon cannot die when shocked, blown up, or anything and death is only shown in a few episodes.
the bad guys never ever ever ever win.
the bad guys go good half the time.
Rap sucks, but "poke rap" of any kind makes babies cry. Sure, i could watch pokemon again, but would i ever commit to watch every pokemon? heck no.
want a good anime? watch the original mobile suit gundam.

I watched the first two seasons like 1 billion years ago when I was 13 or something. About 6 months ago I got curious to know what had happened with the animes story since I knew it was still airing and read the synopsis of the seasons on wikipedia and I found out Ash never freaking won one Pokemon League wth???

Whats the point of the anime if the main dude is a failure ?

but like you said, its a kid's anime, thats why i like it, its lighthearted, and since its a kid's anime i don't see how you hate it because "Pokemon's cannot die because they're shocked" well , of course they can't because its a kid anime?

also i never said this is my favourite anime, nor it is my favourite type of anime's , i normally hate childish and especially stupid Chibi and Slice of life with "Pantsu" jokes , and all that crap, my favorite animes are Ghost in the Shell, Monster, and Cowboy Bebop , that sort of thing, but i do enjoy the lighthearted stuff, if its good that is.

True fans stopped watching after the first pokemon league where Charizard gets lazy in the middle of battle, costing Ash the match.
