You do know the only ad is the one that has advertisement in the bottom right corner? Everything else is relevent like the inside xbox, ESPN, last night on TV, and the penguin movie playable through Zune marketplace now. Everything else I mentioned isn't an advertisement.

So if you go to the Video tab what do you want to see?  What we see here is 1 advertisement (blocked in this screenshot) and 3 spots for content that is currently relevent for people. 

Do you just want a blank boring screen that never changes?

Is that what people are complaining about? It doesn't look that bad, I was expecting to see wall to wall adverts for life insurance or something.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Not bothered by the ads at all, practically don't even notice them.

It really isn't bad. All the ads are in the same exact bottom right corner and they consist either Kinect fun labs, Halo Waypoint, Xbox exclusives, WoW, and several others. Imo it's actually better because with the NXE you had a tile the same size as everything else and sometimes had to swipe through them to get where you wanted. With this you can completely not scrolling over it, but you'll always see it.

Said the exact same thing yesterday and was totally ignore.

I think some people want the Home Tab to simply say...

Video Tab

Play Video

Music Tab

Play Music

Apps Tab

Start App

 

I for one like to see what new content is available any given day/week.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Ideally?

A simple grid with animated icons, with netflix, zune, and the videos you have on your system. Not some big advert for Mr poppers pinguins on the main screen. And the ability to hide items or group things into folders the way you like. Plus it would be nice if it didn't white out the bottom half of my background picture.
