xbox black friday deals were ridiculous, 150 for a 4gb with kinect. keep in mind the ps3 wasn't that cheap. if you think about it, the ps3 wont be under 200 until bluray players are as cheap as dvd players

xbox doing well is awesome. i play mainly xbox but have ps3 for blu ray and exclusives.

Both doing well is great and competition is great. Dont hate because ur a fanboy of one or the other. Xbox made PS step up their game and now hopefully Wii U makes the next xbox and ps3 step up theirs

When I hit F5 to refresh it comes up as the 59.9 vs 56.9. No idea if that includes Japan or other regions where M$ aren't as strong for the Nov. 26. date. It must include USA, UK and Germany because their nos. are up. I'm looking forward to Brett's best guess on Canada. This will be great, eventually.

I do hope we won't need as big an adjustment in January as last year. Whatever, it's obvious they've turned things around despite not having a formal announcement of a pricecut. They seem to be supporting individual retailers with system bundles and some decent ads and are probably helping pay for the stores' own promos. Maybe some of the retail guys could confirm how or why?

The Xmas buy-a-thon is still primarily centred in the largely christian west and Black Friday is an american phenom. If the 3m gap really is VGC WW no. for the 26th it's still not a huge surprise.

if i'm right (i'm not really following prices) PS3 is more expensive than 360 and thus has more sales potential left, without saying Sony consoles are sold in far more countries in the world and in less wealthy countries that will massively buy consoles in the end of its life cycle. I'm a 360 fan but I must say I'd rather bet on PS3 to win the battle (don't forget europe is Sony dominated and europe and eastern europe will finally change the sales balance in favor of PS3, I'm 99% sure of it.
