I think Star Wars is better because of its worldwide appeal and action. Star Trek, not so much, only really seen it on comedy shows lately.

The difference between the Death Star and red matter is negligible. The end result is pretty much the same.

Q can take out solar systems. then recreate it again just as it was just by thinking of it. I don't know anyother being on trek that could compare to jedi or sith.

Star Trek has a whole bunch of crazy "god like" creatures.  Largely based due to the nature of the two different sotries.  The Q just stand at the top of the list.

Star Trek was about explorers in an unsafe unknown enviroment, having creatures far beyond their ability is a standard theme since it worked as a way for the Federation to prove their superior morality to modern day humans.

Mark Hamil. He has range, Leonard Nimoy always sounds like Spock.

Star Destroyer vs. The Enterprise?

Star Destroyer. It's a war machine. The Enterprise is a science vessel with defensive armaments and limited offensive capabilities.

Shatner vs. Carrie Fisher?

Shatner is a straight up fight. Fisher for most crazy.

especially game wise star wars is far better.. the problem with star wars is it isn't a TV show ( excluding cartoon network fail show)
so star trek has the lore and story of massive series probably topping 1000 episodes in total
star wars has 3 good movies 3 ok movies and the really crappy animated movie.
i like both, but so far every star trek game has been terrible, there needs to be a complex space sim for star trek for it to work and the niche market is too small to sell.

star wars on the other hand is perfect market, as seen by one of the greatest games of all time, star wars battlefront. not to mention other games like KOTOR, and rogue squadron.

The animated series is actually quite good for a cartoon adaptation aimed toward children.

Though if you only watched the first few episodes of the first season, I can see why you'd think that. They're really bad. But after that, it really picks up and is pretty decent (and better than quite a bit of Trek out there).
