There are horse meat sausages in Germany, but I don't like them.
I also never tried horse meat in Japan.

The logic we are animals just as any other predator out there and thus entitled to eat meat we find edible?

i'm just saying that, if you think it has to be forbidden to eat horse or if it's ethically incorrect than you should think the same about eating calves or whatever.

and if you think it's ok to eat a cow than you shouldn't say it's not ok to eat horses. what makes a horse better than a cow? ok we can ride on them but otherwise?

personally i would never eat horses because i like them a lot but that doesn't mean that everyone has to like horses and noone can think so about cows. they are both two lifes worth the same.

just read on wikipedia that it's a taboo in all english-speaking countries no clue why but maybe you (guys from uk and usa) really thought it's not normal in other countries.

sure but every meat is unnecessary. cow isn't more necessary than horse.

horse meat was hugely used in almost every cuulture ! then there was one pope against it aso....we started to use it like a pet, use it for horse races or to pull our carriage but that still doens'nt make a horse life more worth than the life of a cow.

I don't think Bear Grylls would eat horse.

We had a horse butcher not far away so my mother bought some horse meat a couple of times. But its not really so special. I prefer the standards birds,cows,pigs. They werent allowed to breed horses for meat so they just got horses with broken legs and similar cases.

I doubt USA starts to breed horses for meat now. Horse meat will be very rare in that case. It will never go mainstream.
