that's what i meant as i said "every good butcher shop has horsemeat". i'm from germany^^
and i believe in eastern europe it's very popular.
just read on wikipedia that it's a taboo in all english-speaking countries no clue why but maybe you (guys from uk and usa) really thought it's not normal in other countries.
