There are indeed.  Most of the story cutscenes in the series are indeed prerendered.  

Hint: In the first 2 Uncharted, if you change your "costume" via the Bonus menu, the costume you chose won't show in the story cutscenes. 

Hint 2: Digital Foundry confirmed it.

ah the MP characters are not as good as Uncharted 2 but that's because of the customization and the focus on a more in-depth MP (UC2 had a very basic one if you remember).

As for the singleplayer;
If you play the Chloe part in the bus: It is not nearly as BAD as the screenshot seems although it is indeed looking like that. The bus scene at E3 is just better looking. Regardless; the only exhibit you need in order to showcase how the Singleplayer looks in Uncharted 3 is coming below. Warning: A LOT OF FKING PICTURES XD!

(Im not saying the game is perfect: But honestly; No game competes with it on consoles right now and I don't see that changing this generation at all unless Uncharted 4 comes out. I'm fairly certain the majority will agree upon this.)

I simply had to throw these in considering the OP used exhibits such as pictures. If we're going to pick out a few selective SP pics and say how bad it is compared to the past: we might aswell focus on what is good.. which is arguably ..a lot. Ill leave it at that xD.

The graphics aren't like that in the game and for example Chloe Frazer is less ugly than she was in Uncharted 2.

They're comparing the multiplayer mode of U2 to the one of U3 (retro map and skin).

They had to downgrade the graphics in the U3 multiplayer mode because of splitscreen.

I wish they didn't though. Same thing with 3D.

I remember my older brother saying that the Uncharted 3 graphics were fantastic, he said similar about Uncharted 2 but not in such a surprised way.

Yes, the multiplayer ones are clearly worse, but the others that were posted are bogus. As seen with all the screenshots just posted, the game looks absolutely marvelous.

These graphcis looks like splitscreen.
