Und ich komme ursprünglich auch aus Freiburg.

Location: Bamberg. Status Report 4 days before christmas: Toys'R'Us - Out of Stock. Media Markt: Out of Stock. Gamestop 4 In stock (Which is pretty much for that small shop). Galaria Kaufhof: Out of Stock.

I think Game Stop was not out of stock, because the Casual don't even know it exisits, pretty new.

galeria kaufhof doesnt sell wii`s in freiburg



N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!

bet with *no one yet* that the combined first week of Monster Hunter 3 in america and europe will be 600k or more! winner changes looser sig and avatar for two months!

I think they might. The problem with Kaufhof (at least in osnabrück): They have 360 and PS3 in the electronics section - the Wii and Ds however are in the children Toy section. Quite pathetic....

Well, since there is not much else to do in Bamberg than to play games (i assume...), its not surprising.

Much to do, Bamberg has a good night live, a lot of good bars and discos. Nuernberg isn't that far away, so there is a lot to do, if you want to. And the region is bigger than a lot of would expect. (>100k people living near and in Bamberg (Hallstadt, Bischberg, Hirschaid and others)

 It was the same in Norway with the N64 and the GC, actually. Nintendo are having a hard time shedding their image, much like Microsoft. The Wii is also placed in kids section, along with DS and PS2 slim bundles, but this is probably Norwegian retailers' strategy. There's only one store chain that gives the Wii a better position along with the "grown up" electronics; Elkjøp.

Live/Work in downtown Toronto.. No Wii's in Futureshop, Best Buy, or EB Games in the downtown core.

Been checking everyday since I got back from holidays. The last shipment all three stores received was before xmas day (Two weeks ago)

At this rate I'm going to estimate that 0 Wii's will be sold in Canada in January. Serioulsy Nintendo.. ship some more up north!!
