Do yourself a favour and play Mirror's Edge for a couple of whatever money you use. It's the right way to start apart from Valkyria Chronicles, which next to Uncharted were the reasons I got a PS3 back in the day.

Heavy Rain is also a good title, Uncharted is a fan favorite of many PS3 owners and Valkyria Chronicles , Resonance of Fate, Folklore, Tales of Graces are also good titles as well. Enjoy your PS3

Buy the Uncharted series and the Resistance series. Motorstorm is also pretty good if you like arcade racing games but if you like simulators get GT5. Also, what is your PSN ID going to be? Lastly, check out Killzone 2/3.

If you like RPGs and didnt play those games on 360 yet;

Star Ocean (Feels kinda oldschool, but thats what makes it so great imo.)
Nier (only mediocre gameplay, but the best Storyline this gen)
