I'm in Australia, try paying $100+ USD for a brand new game...

Wow, then i feel your pain. Our Dollar is always around the Us and yet the prices haven't changed to suit theirs.

I have owned all 3, but have now sold my Wii, which i do not regret as i hadn't touched it in 2 years when i sold it, i will eventually pick up a Wii U to play zelda and Mario Galaxy 2 but im certainly in no rush.

I think next gen tho i will just pick up a PS4, and not pick up the other 2 till much nearer the end of the gen, there really isnt time to play on all three and the cost to play a few exclusives is insane. I choose PS4 only because Sony make more exclusives that i like.

All I can say is after playing mosly PS1 the PS2 for years I never regret trying new things and buying the xbox and buying the wii later. I like my games like I like woman every color and type and flavor is given a chance. This late in the game most of the games are cheap.

Next gen PS4 first, Nextbox 2nd and Wii U if they do better than this gen.

I already have a PS3 and Wii, I had a 360 but it died on me, it didnt even die out with the infamous RROD but gave me 2 red lights. I will never buy a 360 again, because of my experiences of this unreliable machine. Even if the new ones are better I have still concerns.

well i own a ps360wii and i have to say i regret it. too many consoles means i just ignore most of them. I would have been perfectly happy with just a ps3 or at least just a ps3/wii.

i don't plan to make that mistake again next gen ... but i probably will anyways. i'm such a fucking tool.

I would say I am biased towards the xbox 360.

I had a xbox 360 and later bought a ps3 because I had a lot of spare cash. Sold my xbox when I read up on what games were coming out on 2011. None of them interested me except ones that have better PC versions. I will buy a 360 again when halo 4 comes out next year. I will probably sell my ps3 soon because nothing announced really interests me. I hope to flip flop between consoles next gen as well. Due to pricecuts I really don't lose too much money doing this and I get to experience the best of both systems. I guess the only problem would be that I can't replay some of my favorite games in the future but then again imo the 360/ps3 games won't have the staying power of the classics on my gamecube and playstation1 that I still play often to this day. 

I do want to get a wii for skyward sword, metroid prime 3, and mario galaxy 2. I'll wait till I can buy one used for $50 bucks though.

well i'm a very balanced poster not really favoring either console but yea i'd pick up a 360 but it would never be cheap enough.

yea chum i noticed. as a zelda fan i've never completed a zelda game muchless any Nintendo game not made by Rare when they mattered, but there was just something about SoTc that drew me in. took 16 hrs but i beat it. i was the test dummy lol.

Absolutely. You'd have to be a pretty stupid fanboy not to pick one up on the cheap.

When I can get a PS3 for £100, I'll buy one so I can play Uncharted 1 - 3 fully and Killzone 2 and 3 as finished the first last gen.

Although I'm heavily invested in xbox Live, Zune and could 100% never live without Halo, Fable, Gears or Forza I would never turn down the option of being able to play some more great games on a another system when its cheap as chips right before the nextbox.

The Wii? I dunno. Right now I'd choose PS3 for £100 over Wii.

I might check out WiiU. But if M$ release the nextbox in 2012 or early 2013 then WiiU will remain on the store shelves for me I'm afraid.
