At least you have a good 35-40 hours before running into somewhat severe problem.
| Shinobi-san said: Ive been playing the PC version and i can safely say the game has hardly any bugs or glitches, apart from little odd things that are common in most open world games. Also, all the issues on the pc version have fixes or are a result of a particular PC setup. I think its safe to say that the pc version is the way to go. Also people here bashing bathesda for releasing a supposedly buggy game.I dont get it. This games is insanely ambitious oblivion was as well. And if a game is this ambitious it is obviously more prone to bugs (not that thers much in skyrim in any case). Most people are fully aware of this. Apart from the ps3 save file bug, and the 360 install issue, theres nothing really wrong with the game. And people who are saying there is either havnt played the game or are just being overly dramatic. The ps3 bug is game breaking though, but they will surely fix it with a patch. The only issue i have here is the disregard for people without a internet connection that will not be able to gain access to the patch immediately. Thankfully there are other ways to get a patch. All in all i think bethesda is actually one of the good guys when it comes to caring for their customers and following up feedback. @SvennoJ crashing to desktop is not a common problem at all (ive never had a ctd happen yet), and if you thinking of getting the pc version then don't hesitate. |
I would switch to the pc version instantly if I could take my save game. I don't want to start over after putting in 70 hours. Restarting the game when it gets bad seems to help. Luckily it still runs fine inside dungeons. Outside don't walk to fast, let the game catch up.
I'm still waiting for a patch before doing the main story, dungeon hopping and side quests are still keeping me busy. This game gives out quests like random battles in final fantasy.
damn the lag is annoying :( My save file is over 7mb btw
Yeah it's definitely happening to me all right. Sometimes, after playing the game for more than an hour, the framerate goes to shit. It also froze countless times.
Also, as if that was not bad enough, sometimes there's this weird graphical glitch where i see everything blue/white for a second, then when I move it changes.
Save file is about 8.5mb

Aaah dam! 70 hours :( i hope bethesda release that patch soon and hopefully it solves all the gamebreaking issues. If not then i feel they would have made a big mess up going forward, and we all know how these kinda things turn out. Its a lose lose situation for all involved.
On the plus side 70 hours and you havnt touched the main quest
thats amazing, maybe the developers should half the amount of time they spend making quests and put some more effort into testing and bug finding
