It seems people are not happy about my decision of Uncharted 3 -co op better than Gears of War 3 co-op. I understand the people that are un happy but not the people who are calling me a troll. I at least gave a proper reasoning for my decision. But since many people do not agree with my statement I will reconsider it an replay both co-op and online modes for each game and if I will change my statement if I find anything different or better in each game this time around

Those are the best parts of Uncharted 3, even if they're not really visually impressive in comparison to the "oh shit everything is exploding" sequences.

You have to understand that Gears 3 multiplayer is basically unlimited, with the different game types, maps, and weapons.  Similar to the Halo series.  UC3 has multiplayer, but it's not a multiplayer type game.  Just like Gears 3 story, while pretty cool, lacks in the voice acting department because well... it's not a story-based game like UC3 is.  They have their strengths, and UC3's is not multiplayer. 

My favorite series is Mass Effect, and when the third game comes out with its multiplayer, no doubt I will be on that... but I can't even rank it against real multiplayer games... it's an RPG single player game at its core. 

From what I've seen of Gears 1, it looked better than Gears 2, plus I want to get to grips with the story and the characters because Gears 2 didn't have much of a story or any substance whatsoever. Gears 3 looks even better with more varied environments and a heavier focus on the story (from the trailers anyway).

As for Uncharted 3, the way I put it is that the game has its highs and its lows. The lows in Uncharted 3 are lower than Uncharted 2 but the highs in Uncharted 3 are higher than Uncharted 2, overall I think Uncharted 2 is just as good as Uncharted 3.

Uncharted 3 too has different game types, maps and weapons. Not sure where you're getting at.

Uncharted 2 offered a gamemode called "The lab" which varied between so much I cant even start to list them for you.

UC3 is just amazingly rich when it comes to the MP. It's quite sad that few people refuse to acknowledge this.

I played Gears 2 first, as it came out the same time I got an xbox 360, and the first time I played Gears 1 after playing 2 for a long time, I thought the same thing.  But here's the difference for me:  Gears 1 hurt my eyes after a while... maybe after 3 hours of play my eyes couldn't take looking at Gears 1 any more.  I don't know why, but my friends felt the same way.  Gears 2 looks a tiny bit better with the action visuals (chainsawing, explosions, and executions) but other than that it was also less colorful, I guess to represent how dead the world was.  But it never hurt my eyes.  I could play with my friends for an entire day and our eyes would be fine, so whatever they did to change 1 and 2, I'll take it.  3's graphics are far better though, and is easily noticable right away.  Gears 3 has a better story, and the environments are amazing and more colorful and alive than the previous games by far.

I found Gears 1 story to be barely there, and 2 to be much better, but that's just me.  1 just threw you into something that you had no clue what was going on or anything.  2 was more of Dom's story, 3 is Marcus' story with a side of Cole, but 1 seemed like just .... bland.  But that's just me. 

Gears 3 is better in every way though... Horde in 2 got boring after the initial intro to it with the only thing changing being the maps.  Gears 3 Horde is awesome, with the things you can build and set up, as well as the boss battles, and the mutators add in another fun aspect.  I hope they add on to Beast mode a bit more, as it's not nearly as challenging as the rest of the game, but is super fun.

Exactly this. I have to admit Uncharted 2's online wasn't that impressive. It was good but no where near Gears of War or Halo. But Uncharted 3 really changed that. With unlimited customization of weapons, characters, may types of maps which are all enjoyable. In gmae cutscenes in MP make Uncharted 3 better than Gears in my opinion. And with the mass amount of people playing in Uncharted 3's MP this could soon or already infact is one of the  largest online played games. Although I'm curently playing to Gears of War 3 co-op and I have to say I might be changing my opinion on this. But I still have yet to re judje the online multiplayer

Most people I know don't want a cutscene taking up their time when they want to play with friends.  Alone is one thing, but otherwise, leave that out.  But let's be serious... UC3's online players don't come CLOSE to Gears 3, not to mention everyone who's playing MW3 now on both consoles.  The sales just aren't there to even compare yet.  I don't doubt that UC3's multiplayer is better than UC2... but play Gears 3 for a week and with friends and you'll see.  Forget the story mode, do beast and horde and versus with friends. 

I know it's a hard thing to do for most people here, but I'd love a thread in which only the ones that have played both games say their opinion. How can you compare two games when you only have played one?

Dude have you even played the UC3 MP? Go play Hunter, Arena, Adventure and Team objective. Its easily my most favourite to play with buddies this generation. Its exactly this Im talking about when I said some people just cant accept that Uncharted has an amazing MP. Jesus christ..
