I got banned for using the word "penis". A reproductive organ possessed by a little more then 3 billion people in this world, also the official word for it.

I am a mod at Gamershell.com and we just let most people get away with their comments as long as they are not extremely poor taste or racist. The forums will self regulate as time passes along and with over 4 million unique visitors each month it pretty much works out.

 Are you talking about me, since you seem to call me. "The Guy" I am not sure if you are talking about me... or someone else, however due to my post count being so close to 2600, and being away for 3-4 months... I think your talking about me, but I'm not really that sure.

Let me just set something straight.

First. I played more PS3 in the first 1 month of release, than I have played it in the last 6 months.

Why? because everything keeps breaking on me on my truck, and I cant seem to gather the money to buy a TV for my truck... (Or keep the 300$ inverter working, so I have to buy more) to be able to play a PS3 in my truck, and I havent seen my HOUSE, or my new $22,000 in a little over 2 months. (and when I say new, I drove it for about 3 days before I left it at the house)

I dont come on here, because it's a pain in my ass, and I dont feel a reason to give a damn about grandma loving the Wii, and never buying a game for it. See, I Just dont care about it anymore. Why? Becuase I have realised it is not competition with the PS3. It's like the GBA vs PS2. You just dont compare them, they both have diffrent markets. The Wii created a new market. Will it live? Will it last? Idunno. But so far, the PS3/360 are getting 4 out of 5 games that I care about, and as long as it's that way, and it seems to gonna stay that way... I have the Wii anyways, and then the 1/5 games that comes to the Wii is usually a low graphics RPG, that wouldnt have looked much, if any better had it been released on the PS3/360. I will be getting a 360 Premium. (sorry, HDMI just isnt worth the extra cost, as I dont want it for online. I just want the single player games)  in the next few months, after I get a new truck, and buy me a 32inch Samsung LCD.

Overall, just to relate to why this post is related to this thread. This is a good example of thread Hijacking, and going off topic. I have been banned for this more times than I care to count. :D 

You can get banned just for swearing.

You can get banned just for calling a Japanese a Jap, or shortining the word Japan to Jap.

You can get banned just for posting an opinion (if they don't want to ban you for that, they'll edit your post) ~See the thread about how apprently it's cool to own a gun.

You can get banned for posting in someone else's lock-worthy thread.



I can think of 3 mods that will ban you just because they're (in) a bad mo(o)d.

If 1 mod bans you because he's in a so called "bad mood" then its probably the mods problem

if 2 mods ban you because of so called "bad mood" then its a coincidence

if 3 mods ban you its because you're probably a jackass who trolls these forums.

You can go on hating whoever.. but hopefully, sooner or later you'll realize its not them that are the problem.
